Video | ‘Our moment’: A Chapman graduation two years in the making

Chapman University plans to host commencement ceremonies for its class of 2020 and 2021 seniors in late July and early August, respectively, bringing relief to over a year of pandemic fatigue. From receiving their caps and gowns to taking graduation pictures and planning their graduation celebrations with family and friends, the current class of 2021 seniors like Amber Steigelfest are thankful to return to the normal traditions.

Additionally, the class of 2020 alumni will return to finalize their college experience that was put on hold by the pandemic a year before.

"We’ll still have our moment, but it will just be different than anything that anyone else has had before," said Natalie Rawson, a class of 2020 alumna.
